Sony’s New Blu-ray Players
February 15, 2010 by Dunkin
Sony just a while ago revealed its new-fangled range of blu-ray players for 2010.
The entry level Sony BDP-S370 Blu-ray player owns Sony’s all-new monolithic design concept which supports online media streaming from exceeding 25 providers through the Sony BRAVIA Internet Video platform. Other traits comprise full HD 1080p picture quality, BD Live support, unique iPhone/iPod Touch BD Remote Control application and an Entertainment Database Browser. The mere downside to this release is that it is wi-fi ready which means owners will have to purchase a separate wireless LAN adapter for online features, not like its two older siblings, the Sony BDP-S570 and Sony BDP-S770, which come with in-built wi-fi.
The Sony BDP-S570 also owns the cutting edge monolithic design concept and comprises built-in wi-fi to provide instant video streaming via the Sony BRAVIA Internet Video platform. Other attributes are BD Live support, full HD 1080p picture quality and the ability to use the Apple iPhone or iPod Touch as a remote control.
Yet another 2010 Sony release is the Sony BDP-S770 3D-capable blu-ray player which showcases abilities like-minded to the Sony BDP-S570. These gadgets are most definitively worth looking out for!

Get the connection working with wifi security switched off. Then try again – make one change at a time and see what works (or not).
Be aware that the encryption has to be the same at both ends – if your router is set to WEP, setting WPA on the other devices is a waste of time.
But be aware that plenty of devices simply don't implement the security protocols correctly. I have a brand-new phone that is supposed to web-surf via my wifi broadband. Nuts! I gave up.
Do you need any extra equipment for using the wi-fi/wireless network? Please answer, thx
