Radio controlled toy planes are the ideal introduction to the RC hobby for your teenager. Obtaining a teenager a plane is an ideal technique for them to spend their extra time, and be outdoors too.

so i guess u've already tried telling him that he spends too much time on his rc car and he didn't listen to ya, huh? have u tried keeping a written record of how much time he spends working on his rc car? when i talk to my hubby with stuff, it helps to show him proof of whatever i'm talking about so that he can actually see what's happening.
keep a small calander near u, and write down how much time he spends on his rc cars everyday. after like a month, show him the calander. but don't be mean about it or he'll become defensive and remind u that u suggested it to him. just tell him that u're really glad that he has a hobby and everything but u feel like he's spending too much time on his rc cars and u miss spending time with him. suggest to him that he only work on his rc cars for just an hour or so every day. this way, he gets to play with his stuff and u get to play with ur hubby.
i would either get rid of him or send him off on a vaction and while he is gone sell his cars.
