I know this law is not in effect in many states now, in the US, but there may be a few that do continue to enforce this law. Which is very unfortunate. If it does not involve minors or animals, anything sexual should not be considered criminal.
Animal mistreatment has forever bothered me. It looks like it is becoming worse, at least where I live. But there are nevertheless generous individuals out there who feel like I do that we must take care of them. I hope the judicial system will catch up with our way of believing about this.
