Motives Cosmetics should be a houshold name

Hi, This is Justyna, and have more makeup than I know what to do with, but I’ve been pretty effing lazy lately when it comes to mix and matching colors. On a day-to-day basis, probabilities are I awakened late and don’t have much time to put more than minimal effort into making my face, so I slap on an eyeshadow, infrequently eyeliner, mascara, and run out the door. Sadly it was not until I received a handful of Motives makeup to try that I realized how severely i have been neglecting one of my only real passions : playing in cosmetics.
Motives Cosmetics by Loren Ridinger is a fairly new line that isn’t enormous, but definitely should be. It isn’t super costly, and many cosmetics firms don’t get that quality doesn’t have to be at once related with cost. This isn’t one of those companies. The Pressed Eye Shade ( $12 ) feels literally like velvet.
It picks up on a brush pretty simply, but I wish to use my pinky finger to mix the colours. I tried on some different shades over the course of a week to get an experience of all the colors. They don’t seem to be super-heavy, so it’s presumably not best as a stage makeup brand, but it works rather well for wearing to parties and such like. You may also mix the colours with a little water to get a heavier look. The Kohl Eyeliner ( $14 ) goes on smoothly and also makes a solid base for a liquid liner, if you intend to be out for hours at a time and don’t need motives makeup wearing out before you do.
I am routinely not keen on powder foundation at ALL ( it makes my face look dry and gross ), but the Liquid Powder Foundation with SPF 15 ( $24.95 ) went on smoothly and didn’t have a cakey finish. While I won’t wear it each day, it’s got great coverage for Sat. Nights and times I’m on camera ( hi-def is a bitch )
Last saturday I was headed to a party, so I thought it’d be charming to layer their new gloss ( coming shortly on the site over the rich Color Lipstick in Venetian Red ( $14 ). I got a large quantity of compliments, and the partner liked it, so when I awakened the next day still a touch lagered and ready to wear an entertaining outfit for Sun. Funday ( read : toothsome breakfast and unlimited mimosas, amen ), I was wearing it again for more oomph.
Ultimately, I’ve been wearing the Pressed Blush in Runway ( $13.50 ) for the past few days instead of my usual cheek stain. It has not made a giant difference, but that is the point, right? I was wearing it to a latest office party, got lots of compliments, I adore Motives Cosmetics !
