Some individuals may not realize that you need to register first before you have the ability to vote in the State of Florida. To sign-up to vote in Florida, you’ll need to follow these steps:

For starters, figure out whether you are eligible to vote in Florida. An individual:

Must be a US citizen, Must be a resident of the State of Florida, Must be at least 18 years old(pre-registration to vote is allowed if you are 16 years old), Must NOT be considered mentally incapacitated, Must NOT have been convicted of a felony without your civil rights having been restored, Must supply a valid current Florida drivers license or ID card, or Must provide the last four digits of your SSN if you do not have a Florida drivers license or ID card. In lieu of these items you have to check the space indicated on the registration form as NONE.

When you are eligible, you’ll next need to complete a Florida voters registration application. Complete the Voter Registration Application. Complete all fields. Print the application out. Verify all information on your application is provided. The place you register, your SSN, Drivers license number and ID card number are confidential and are used only for registration purposes. Sign the application. An original signature is needed because you are swearing or affirming to an oath. Mail your application on to your trusty county Supervisor of Elections. You can opt to mail or deliver by hand an application to any Supervisor of Elections office in the state, the DMV, a registration company, an armed forces department, or the Division of Elections office.

Many people often inquire whether or not they need to find a florida notary to notarize their application. As of the date of this short article, notarizing isn’t a necessity. If this is a new registration application in Florida, the date the complete application is postmarked or hand brought to a drivers license office, a voter registration firm, an armed forces recruitment office, the Division of Elections, or the office of any supervisor of elections in the state is going to be your registration date. You need to be registered not less than twenty nine days before you can vote in an election. If your application is complete and you become qualified as a voter, a voter information card will be mailed to you. You should meticulously check the application. If the info you provide is not true, you possibly can be convicted of a felony of the third degree and fined as much as$ 5, 000 and/or imprisoned for up to 5yrs.

    The short answer? Yes.

    The longer answer? Partially.

Members of the Armed Forces are free to communicate with their members of Congress in a lawful manner that does not violate the Uniform Code of Military Justice. In regards to the media members of the Armed Forces that choose to speak to the press in their private capacity may do so, but must not do so in uniform and must make clear that they do not speak on behalf of their military unit, military service, or the Department of Defense.

    Some Corrections:

    1. The Supervisor is required to use only the machines Certified by the State Division of Elections by Law good or bad.
    2. The State was notified by the Supervisor and other Supervisors of problems with #2 pencils and Blue ink months earlier in test reports, but the State Elections division Certification department did nothing to help voters or elections in Florida.
    3. The problem was present from Feb 2008 foward covering other elections such as the NOV 2008 presidential election with OS and OSX models but not documented in an offical test or election till this month.
    4. The problem must be found by engineers of the supplier and documented as there are three elements to its fault, the illumination light, the sensor , or the math in the chip set. This is something either the State of Florida which does its own Certificaiton or the Supervisors can not due or have the means to do.
5.Varioius inks are suspended in oil, gel, or other substances, all these have properties that can hide the vote based on the elements in #4 above.
    6. The Supervisor in this case found the problem because they tested for it, so should get some praise for best practice in testing on this issue.

If you want to get better elecitons get it right first, then help to make changes write to the State of Florida Division of Elections, Mr. Don Palmer and ask him why they did not do anything about what they were sent in writing, ask why they did not test fot this problem in their Certification process. Ask why they do not have a real time “bug & fix” site for Supervisors on problems with machines, ask why they do not do their job!
