10 Huge Benefits of Acai Juice

When it was first introduced to the world, the acai berry was nothing more than a new kind of fruit. The acai berry is quite tiny, almost like a grape, and has a dark blue color. The berry grows in clusters on palm trees and tasts like a blueberry mixed with a pinch of chocolate.

We also found out that the seeds in these berries were larger than most, in fact the seeds make up 80 percent of the fruit itself.

Today, we have uncovered many of the true benefits of acai, as well as the benefits of acai juice. Through the use of modern testing and a ton of research, experts have learned that this tiny little “superfood” provides several health benefits. Here are ten of the benefits of the acai berry.

1. Prevents Heart Disease

Acai berries contain a very large amount of essential fatty acids. These work to improve the health of your heart. If you’ve suffered a heart attack, studies have shown that the ingredients found in the acai berry have a positive affect on your heart.

2. Improves Your Cardiovascular System

Within the acai berry, there is an abundance of phytosterols. These are the complex compounds that form the membranes of plant cells. Phytosterols help you to maintain the health and integrity of your cardiovascular system.

3. Aids in Digestion

Acai berries contain high amounts of fiber. This fiber aids your digestive tract in processing food so that you can easily eliminate fecal matter, preventing the buildup of toxic waste within your colon.

4. Helps with Weight Loss

There is an abundance of fiber found in the berry, which is itself is one of the core benefits of acai juice.

It can help you lose weight quickly. First, because the fiber is helping your body process food efficiently, the waste material that cannot be used by your body can be eliminated. Second, consuming foods with fiber will make you feel full more quickly. Feeling full and eliminating waste efficiently will help to shed those unwanted pounds.

5. Helps You Sleep Better

Acai has a healthy blend of nutrients (as well as vitamin B) which help regulate the hormones and chemicals in your brain while sleeping and regenerating your muscles. When your brain is at rest and your muscles are well-relaxed, you can sleep more restfully.

6. Gives You an Energy Boost

The natives in the Amazon rainforests have used the acai berry for centuries to provide an energy boost when needed. Today, those who consume acai regularly as a part of their daily diet report feeling a similar boost of energy.

7. Helps Maintain Your Immune System

Your immune system helps you fight off sickness. The acai berry helps to maintain the health of your immune system. It provides a natural source of antioxidants that produce cells that are capable of destroying germs and other harmful entities.

8. Improves Your Alertness

Many people who use acai regularly as a part of their diet have said that they feel an extra sense of alertness. If you tend to get drowsy in the afternoon, acai may help keep you alert for the rest of the day.

9. Relaxes And Regenerates Your Muscles

Acai is also a rich source of amino acids and trace mineral compounds. Your muscles need these elements to regulate their regeneration.

10. Helps Prevent Cancer

The same antioxidants that help maintain the health of your immune system also work to prevent cancer cells. When cancer cells appear, the antioxidants in acai attempt to destroy them before they have a chance to spread.

Hopefully now you see that the acai berry edge is significant, especially if you’re looking to lose weight quickly.

. Enjoy this wonderful new superfood!

One theory is that breast cancer has more survivors than most other cancers, so more people to form support groups and to be be activist for the disease. Not a whole lot of lung cancer survivors. I feel a little left out of the awareness hoopla.

It tells you exactly when, what and what not to eat. Good info. Carbs are the way to go the night before, something small if the game is early in the morning. Good luck in your game!

When my doc put me through a stress test I was informed that a heart attack was a pretty clear indication of failure. There was no real consideration as to whether I might be too big for a heart attack.
So I guess if through stress testing we can more quickly identify and close the weakest banks, regardless of size, that would increase the amount of information available to the market. At least it would create a class of banks that are considered less at risk for fatal heart attacks.
