Fun toys for girls

September 28, 2009 by

When I dropped off my daughter at school today, I saw a group of girls sitting down talking about their favourite toys. The conversation seemed centered around a toy that Jenny had brought with her to school. It got me thinking about my own daughter, and the kinds of toys she might like. After doing some research on the internet, I have come up with a short list of toys.

We tried to buy her the Barbie Diamond Castle Playset last year, but it was sold out everywhere. With the popularity of dolls, and Barbie in particular, this is likely to be a good toy as long as we can find it.

All girls love dolls, and none more popular than Baby Annabell, which come in a variety of models, as well as a huge range of accessories. Some of the additional accessories include changing bags, a double buggy, feeding center, sleeping bag, wardrobe, comfort seat and nappies. This is a toy that she can grow into, helping preserve the pleasure she’ll get from playing with it.

Finally, my daughter always sees me working on my laptop, and she like to sit on my knee and play games with me. The idea of a childs laptop is a nice one, as it will stop sticky fingers getting all over my keyboard. After a little research I found that VTech make a range of Princess laptops like Princess Carriage Laptop and the Disney Princess Magic Wand laptop.

These three toys are great ideas for little girls, and I am sure they will provide many years of entertaining fun.

You could add a large colored sash to it and get new gloves to match that color (I would go with red because it always makes a splash!)

    Good luck! :)

Add this to the list of unexpected business partnerships: Asus and Disney have combined their expertise in computers and cartoons to produce a Disney-themed netbook called the Netpal. Available in “Princess Pink” or “Magic Blue,” the Netpal will be available in late July. The Netpal should be perfect for the Disney fans who need a laptop that packs a little more punch than the $30 Vtech Disney Princess Carriage “Laptop” and just aren’t feeling the Snow White look of the older Lenovo IdeaPad Y330 Disney Limited Edition. The Netpal will be sold by Toys ‘R’ Us, DisneyStore.com, and Amazon.com for $350, which will get you a 2.6lb laptop with 1GB RAM, Windows XP Home, an 8.9-inch display (1024-by-600 resolution), and a 1.6GHz Intel N270 processor. There will be two models available, one with a 160GB HDD and one with a 16GB SSD (the latter being about half a pound lighter), and both models come with SD/MMC card readers, a 0.3-megapixel camera, a VGA port, and 3 USB ports. The Netpal also…
