name the places that you heard that 90 percent of essential oils are adulterated. I have been repackaging and reselling essential oils that I buy wholesale in large quantities.I have read hundreds of aromatherapy articles and read dozens of aromatherapy books and never once saw mention a warning that almost all oils are not as advertised. Granted some companies cheat but 90 percent????. I use a blot test on my oils to see if it is pure oil. If when it dries it leaves a ring on a blotter then it is not pure but this test cannot show if a less expensive (but still pure) oil is substituted for a more expensive oil. From hundreds of clients I get a a few complaints that it doesn't work but that is no different than drugs that do not always work for everyone.
