name the places that you heard that 90 percent of essential oils are adulterated. I have been repackaging and reselling essential oils that I buy wholesale in large quantities.I have read hundreds of aromatherapy articles and read dozens of aromatherapy books and never once saw mention a warning that almost all oils are not as advertised. Granted some companies cheat but 90 percent????. I use a blot test on my oils to see if it is pure oil. If when it dries it leaves a ring on a blotter then it is not pure but this test cannot show if a less expensive (but still pure) oil is substituted for a more expensive oil. From hundreds of clients I get a a few complaints that it doesn't work but that is no different than drugs that do not always work for everyone.

Yes. It is safe to use. Most oils say that they are for aromatherapy purposes because the FDA and AMA will not allow the natural oil companies to make actual medical claims on their products.
