Industrial Music Crosses Over to Recovery Like Glue

December 17, 2009 by

Industrial rock music has always been more archaic, however this is beginning to change. There is this upbeat recovery rock I saw by Matt Soren recently that has a new perspective on industrial rock music. His CD is a mix of recovery music and the story of beating addiction.

There are some music downloads at his URL at www.returnfrombroken.com. It sounds like they are raw versions while finishing final mixes. They sound professional to me but that’s just me. It is cool to see more rock like this written specifically for addiction recovery in a more entertaining way from a person that has already been through it and is making a difference for others in addiction. Plus It’s nice to have this type of rock coming from the industrial genre which is typically more negative in nature. Nice!

By the way, he has free songs you can get from his site and more in his back extras page which is free. I also saw discount passes, graphics, and other stuff. It will be nice to hear the album once it is available. Thanks for listening to me ramble, hope you enjoyed it!
